Work Somewhere the Care Is Real, Starting With How We Treat Our Caregivers

Velora Home Care is small, locally owned, and led by a registered nurse who believes good caregiving deserves real support behind it. If you’re looking for a place where the work matters and you’re treated like the professional you are, we’d like to hear from you.

Why Work at Velora

Real RN oversight

Being nurse-led doesn't just shape how we care for clients. You'll have access to RN oversight, not just a supervisor checking a schedule.

Matched to clients based on fit

Not assigned at random. We take your strengths and personality into account when placing you with a client.

A locally owned decision-maker you can talk to

Decisions about how this company runs are made here in Lincoln, by people you can actually reach.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are patient, reliable, and genuinely comfortable in someone else's home. Caregiving asks a lot: showing up on time, paying attention to small changes, treating clients and their families with respect, and doing the work with care even when no one's watching.
  • CPR & First Aid Certified
  • Compassion & Integrity
  • Reliable & Attentive
If that sounds like how you already operate, we want to talk to you. Pay and schedule are discussed directly during the application process.

  • Orientation and training — Every caregiver completes orientation and competency-based training covering client safety, infection prevention and control, personal care, fall prevention, safe mobility and transfers, emergency procedures, confidentiality, documentation, recognizing and reporting changes in condition, and the prevention and reporting of abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
